Hey guys, I'll be flying into Denver from Houston December 9th. Driving down to CO Springs to check out the Pikes Peak railway, maybe Garden of Gods as well. We're leaving CO Springs December 11th, and driving up to Breck to stay there for 2 days to spend some time in the mountains. Flying back December 13th. Feel free to throw in any input on my itinerary. I doubt I'll have any time to visit breweries, but was curious what top rated, readily available beers would be available to purchase preferably in CO Springs/Breck. Just looking for things I can't get in Houston. Also any reccomended bottle shops in the towns I am visiting, and/or off the roads I am traveling on would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions on craft beer friendly restaraunts in CO Springs/Breck would be appreciated as well. As a first timer to CO, I hope staying hydrated would do me some good in the high altitudes of Pikes Peak and Breck. With visiting Pikes Peak and Garden of Gods, I sort of got a solid plan for CO springs. I feel like we're kind of gunning Breck though, and don't really have a solid itinerary for that town. We're not much of skiers, but we enjoy hiking and checking out scenic views. Any suggestions for Breck would be great. Any suggestions of solid beers and restaraunts to look out for are greatly appreciated too. Thanks!
