One of the better beer festivals around these parts. This will be my 3rd (or is it 4th) year attending. Let's get some discussion going around it.

    Who's going?
Which, if any, seminars are you attending?
Does anybody need rides, rooms, etc?
    What about bottle shares?

My wife and are going. We are attending the Calibration Dinner and Commercial tasting. Haven't decided on seminars yet, but will probably attend a few. Going to be hitting the slopes on Friday, but would love something to do later that afternoon/night.

I'll be there. Hosting a seminar on the aging/cellaring beer. Jared Jankowski of Goose Island and Troy Casey will be participating. Troy works for some place in the mountains, can never remember the name of it...

They'll both be pouring beer during the seminar to help showcase the development of an maturing beer. Hoping to nail down exactly what next week, but needless to say it will be awesome. Will try and post it once we figure it out.

Going up Thursday this year. No plans to attend any of the seminars, but that could change... I haven't made it to one yet. Love this fest!

That's right in the whereabouts of my hotel. If I'm still standing afterwards on Saturday, I might be down.

We're staying at Gore Creek Meadows and getting into Vail on Thursday. I'd be interested in a share.

Local Fest Year #4 for me. Tix available @ West Vail Liquor Mart (where I work). Also got a great selection right now... Could be into the idea of a bottle share.

I just got two tickets to the commercial tasting on Saturday. I am super pumped, especially after reviewing that beer list. I don't know how I am going to narrow down my "must taste" beer list, as I want EVERYTHING.

There's the usual fantastic suspects (Hopslam, Darkness, BCBS, Utopia, etc) but a few new ones that got me pretty stoked:

    NB Blackberry Barleywine
    Papago '09 Tripel
    Odell's Woodcut #8 (English Barleywine)
10th & Blake Adambier (first non-HotD example I've heard of)
Roadhouse Saison En Regailia (GABF Gold for Belgian Fruit)

Surly is bringing us some Abrasive (formally known as 16 Grit) which was only released this year at their grand opening of their Surly/MSP Destination Brewery on Dec. 19. Woot!
