    The Peach was outstanding. The others seemed a bit thin in feel and flava...but still really good

    The Ska Barleywine was the big winner of the night for me...something I totally didn't expect as that is not a style I think of when I think of Ska. Aged in bourbon barrels for 3 years. Stellar.

    Great, great time as per usual.

    Totally agree on the SKA BW. Totally unexpected.

    Also Former Future's "Ramjet" dryhopped/coolship sour was amazing.

    I hate missing it... but even The Loft was $200 a night this year. That's ridiculous.

    I'll be getting to Vail late afternoon on Thursday and staying at a condo on the north side of I70 not far from Simba Run.

    Thursday night I'm volunteering for the Brewer's Reception. Friday I'll be at the welcome reception around noon and the Traditional Brewmasters' Dinner Friday night. Saturday I'm going to the Brewmaster's seminar in the second session of seminars followed by the Commercial Tasting. Gotta leave early Sunday so I can make it home in time for the Vikings game at 11:00!

    I'm going to need a spare liver.

    We're bringing a bunch of staff and renting a condo near Cascade with some of my non-beer friends. Say hello if you see people wandering around in Odd13 shirts.

    Looking forward to my fourth time attending Big Beers but even more excited about my first time pouring WeldWerks beers at the festival. We'll be pouring 6 different beers at the commercial tasting and I will also be on the panel for John Holl's seminar "Miracles from Mistakes".
