First time visit to Valiant today. Potential is there. Had a flight. Veranda, Jericho, Mighty & 31 Kings. "Wasn't there a movie called 31 Kings"? Also had to try the "Ultra Barleywine" @ 16.5% abv's. Jericho was a my favorite. Then Ultra. Even when I had to buy ice cream to get the Ultra. But I also got a free tulip glass with the barley wine. A nice layout inside. Better than my first visit to OOB. This after stopping in the new grand opening of Bootleggers and the Bruery. Who knows. . . .another 2-3 years from now?

This is an old post, but I'm pretty sure I've seen Pretty Things out in CA before. Check out Our Finest Regards for an awesome English Barleywine.

See Pretty Things stuff at quite a few local spots in SoCal (greater LA area)... If you're near, I'll keep an eye out for ya.

I went after the Bruery party last month. Definitely a shiny new spot. I thought the beers were fairly solid. I will be keeping my eye on them going forward.

I stopped by Valiant this past Saturday. I had their 31 Kings IPA, Jericho DIPA, and their Pathos Imperial Chocolate Stout on Nitro and C02.

Very impressed with the Jericho and the Pathos ... however the 31 Kings is not a contender in SoCal. Nice setup for a brewery that just opened in February, and they had 11 beers on.

Definitely worth a visit if you live in the area. Some pics:
