Replace the broken bottles. It seems like a fairy tale someone would drink the beer and break the bottles, but crazy shit has been happening on BA these days.

I'll gladly replace them (mostly happy I have replacements!), I just wanted to know if there was a standard procedure for this sort of thing. The BA community seems pretty embracing, and honest. At the same time, that would be an easy way to con some additional bottles out of traders.

The Uhaul boxes are what I use (though I typically pick them up from beer stores, they're the same Uline boxes, but not all beer stores carry them). But they can get expensive, especially for shipping. When I'm flying I definitely use the Uline boxes as they'll stay with me and I've used a couple of mine numerous times now (enough that they're starting to a decent amount of wear). Was really hoping for a cheaper option that these seem to be... If I could use a shipper every time and its only $7 or so, that saves me a lot of worry and isn't crazy expensive. The Uline boxes are probably twice as expensive.

I almost always pack a box inside a box and I've only lost one box... If you trade enough it's gonna happen sooner or later. Caps can leak, or in this case it was cans, which can easily be replaced next Tuesday when I go to the brewery.

electrical tap around the caps and put them in ziplock bags. quart bags hold most cans and bottles. 2g bags hold most bombers.
