That's value to the extreme, 50 cents a beer, I'm sure the college kids hammer it.

Their Tropical Stout kicks ass. By the name you might expect coconut and/or pineapple, but it's just a great stout. This was a one-off but hopefully they bring it back.

The regular DAB is quite good, but I've never seen the dark for some reason. I could see bypassing the regular if I did, though .

Most things Sierra Nevada are almost always a value purchase.

Anything Lagunitas. From their regular lineup to their One Hitters, everything is priced extremely well.

Whenever this topic comes up ( and it's a familiar friend---shows up every couple of months) people seem to forget that what is a "value" beer in one part of the country may be higher priced or even unavailable in other areas of the US.

Location, location, location as the realtors say.

Lagunitas Willettized Coffee Stout. $10.99 for a sixer of barrel aged imperial goodness. I grabbed 3 cases.

i think this is the wrong way to approach this. people are going to speak on what they personally experience & whether or not the quality vs. cost they experienced, amounts to "value". you may be expecting too much if you think the average contributor on this thread needs to also check to make sure things they've found a value are equally a value in yours & every other regional market in existence. jmho.

Reading through the thread, I have already seen a few names I'd have suggested, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, and Bittburger. Two pretty decent ones for the money I would through in would be Hop Lift (from Aldi of all places), and Dundee's 12 bottle mix packs.
