I have one more Rum Barrel Hunahpu available. I may put it up for trade. What is the going rate of these lately? I have not seen them traded, so I was not sure of the rarity/value.

    thanks.

What would you trade it for? If you can answer that question, then that's what it's "worth".

The value is whatever you want in exchange or whatever someone is willing to offer for it. You don't have to try and maximize it's profit. Just list some beers you're interested in and see if anyone takes you up on them.

(Hopefully that doesn't come off as rude, it's not intended to be).

*What Mark said in less words than me, haha. I tend to ramble*

I guess the way I meant it was "What have they been trading for lately, if at all?". Since I have not seen any for trade (I am in the FT section religiously, but I miss trades all the time), I was not sure if there was a recent trade that I could use a basis. I (this is me personally) look at what the beers are currently trading for as a representation of value. Obviously, this is subjective to the level of desire of the other trader. I am not looking to maximize profit, just looking for a basis to start at.

I ask this mainly because there are certain rare beers that I find hard to value. For instance, I was offered a Duck Duck Gooze from one BA for MUCH more than what the value I would consider and then another Duck Duck Gooze from a different BA for more along the lines of fair value. The rarer beers (like Cable Car, DDG and to a certain extent BA Hunahpu) still confuse me on what to value them at.

I do not want to post a ISO and make other members think that I significantly overvalued the beer. I want to make sure that I am fair on both sides.

    thanks for the response everyone.

The last trade I know that happened for a Rum Hunah was in exchange for a Czar Jack. Happened a few months ago around the time of Town Hall Barrel Aged week.

Honestly, with a beer like Rum Huna, there are probably very few things you could post ISO that would draw the ire of the threadshitters.

That is a very good point. While people get capped on for posting there types of threads they will get a ton of flak for posting "the wrong" ISO.
