Does anyone know how hard the Barrel aged imperial stout trooper beer from New England Brewing company is?

I ended up with the regular one in a trade recently and loved it. I now hear there is a barrel aged version. Is this extremely hard to find? What sort of beers would be needed for it. I can find very little info on in regarding trades, but would love to get it. Is something like the Founders Frangelic enough to swing it, or is it harder to find than that?

It was released 2 years ago at the brewery; maybe around 800 bottles released. Bottles were over-carbonated. It's not very sought after anymore because of that and many people didn't care for it. I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard for someone to let go of one.

I doubt there's too many bottles left for trade- although like Bears says it was overcarbonated and not a smashing success.

Imperial Stout Trooper did go into barrels around early february.
While a good amount of the 09 BAIST did have carbonation issues,I did have a few perfect bottles.
This year the fine gents have some better barrels, and after having their Barrel Aged 668-Neighbor of the Beast
and Fancy Pants recently,I am quite sure the BAIST will be making a strong comeback.
    Can't wait!!!!

    Cheers All...........
