Was recently given a bottle of this and curious as to how it would would trade in relation to vanilla and prop. Any info is greatly appreciated. Cheers!!
Just post an offer for what you and your friend think is fair. If it gets done, then you've got the beers you wanted; if it doesn't, you know you've asked for too much.
Ive never had or tasted one and dont know what the value is or what he paid. He doesnt trade beer so he doesnt onow what to ask for it. Any help would be appreciated.
To answer your question, I would ask for an ass ton of GI stuff for it but there are people who would prob trade it for 1 and 1. But I would let it go for awhile and wait for the madness to settle. At some point, everyone will move on to the next shiny toy and the people will become more reasonable.
Thank you for your input and help!! So i am hearing 2:1. When you say "assload", would 3:1 be asking too much? Cheers!!
I would say 2 Vanilla and 1 prop but i wouldn't trade the 50 for that? But I am sure some prob would especially international. But I might be off, who knows?
Trade for what you like, but 50N was difficult to come by. My good friend grabbed me a bottle at Cantillon when it came out and I think he had to buy a case of other offerings (not a hardship per se), and had to persuade them to sell him an extra bottle. That, coupled with the fact that it's not clear if/when it will be released again, should inform your decision. I make be greedy, but I'd try for a Prop. & a Rare and maybe kick something else in on my end to get the job done. Good luck.
Trading a one off Cantillon gueuze for some adjust stouts made every year...what is the world coming to
Believe it or not, im not a big fan of Cantillon. Id rather have an American, over the top lacto bomb than Cantillon anyday. I know im in the minority there, but i drink what my mouth likes.
Someone wanted 1x Prop, 2x Vanilla, 4x Mixed...didnt end up doing it. felt like it was a bit over priced.
