Okay, yeah I guess it was rude, and I've never heard of Redbeard, just commenting on the state of neu craft in the old dominion. The OP just seems kinda spammy. I'm sure the beer is awesome, folks.

 

Dude, I can't even afford a shot. I did drink some with my pops about a decade ago, though. Incredible.

 

Agree that the comment was unnecessarily rude.

That said, regardless of how far people have driven for previous releases, it's poor form to put a local taproom only release in the main Beer Releases forum, which is described as "Announcements for widely distributed beer releases. For regional releases, please use the appropriate regional forum. No questions."

This forum would be an unnavigable jungle if every local brewery putting out a beer posted it on here.

Edit: Is Moriarty a reference to the Sherlock Holmes "supervillian"? Pretty cool name for a stout, and yes, it sounds pretty tasty. Which is why I clicked on the link. Only to have my dreams crushed...

 

All I do is smile when I see people post unnecessarily rude comments. They're obviously jealous because they won't be able to try this delicious brew. And when did drinking beer become so hostile?
