My wife and I will be heading to Vancouver in late May / early June and have dreams of seeing a Cantillon on a shelf somewhere like used to happen in WI 6-8 years ago (the good ole days). I saw a few older threads that made them sound regularly available. Has any of this changed much? Would love to get a few to bring back, but if I could special order cases as some previous threads suggested that would be incredible. Any info is helpful. Also looking for general recommendations of beer spots/bottle shops in the Vancouver area. Will likely be bringing some WI beer up depending upon what's fresh/available at the time we head out too. Cheers!

Cantillon is no longer a shelf turd in BC.

Those were glorious times when I could stroll into Firefly or Viti and snag some Kriek, Geuzue, Lou Pepe, Vigneronne, etc. But those times are no more.

It comes in and goes out in hours. You may be able to trade for some but most people who have Cantillon love their loons and wont let them go easily.

I picked up a few bottles in 2013, but havent seen any around since. Not that I have any connections or try to actively seek it out, but I make my way around the bottle shops.

Biercraft has a few on their bottle list (http://biercraft.com/cambie/beer-list/) but im preeeetty sure those are just for onsite consumption

Cantillon sat on shelves in Vancouver back in 2012 and 2013. Things have changed. It's best to not create threads asking about coming to Canada looking for Cantillon. BC HAS AN AWESOME LOCAL BEER SCENE. Have fun.

Biercraft is your best bet for finding bottles to drink or on tap, they don't sell anything to go. But, I'd say we have plenty of other beer to keep you happy. 120+ breweries in BC now I think.

Well, it is possible, although unlikely, that by a stroke of luck there a shipment right when you're in town and you happen to find some bottles -- unless someone here knows what the actual schedule is of course, and if so, please tell .

Anyway, as mentioned, BC has enough breweries to keep any visitor entertained for a while. Besides, there are several Washington and Oregon breweries distributed here that maybe don't make their way to other places in the US.

I promised myself I'd stop replying to any thread asking to buy Cantillon here, but feel compelled to because of the following:

That's accurate, but for me June's a great time to be here because http://farmhousefest.com/2016/index.html is happening on June 18th. That right there is the festival to check out, and I'm told tickets go on GA sale this Friday... and also that if you PM @JonnyBeers very, very nicely he might give you a presale code.
