Anyone notice the remodeled Fred Meyers on 164th? They've moved all the alcohol to one section, where the electronics used to be and they seem to have increased their beer selection. Anyone know if other Freddy's are changing their store layout in this way?

The Greenwood neighborhood FM in Seattle did something similar when they opened the remodeled store.

I'm guessing this is to compete with Total Wine/Bevmo. There's also a New Seasons (like a much much better, local, and more affordable version of Whole Foods) across the street from this FM that has a good beer selection.

The one on Mill Plain/Chkalov has a huge section toward the back of the store. Been that way for a little bit.

The beer selection at the remodeled Fred is a lot bigger and better than it used to be. Between Fred, New Seasons and BevMo, 164th has a pretty good selection. New Seasons is one of the places that always gets the latest Stone releases, and their rep does regular tastings. I even saw an Elysian tasting taking place at Fred last week. Good times!

164th has an awesome selection, I am pretty excited about it.

Glad to hear there are BA's in my neighborhood. Y'all do any bottle trades?

I miss when the one on Columbia by Beaches had Goose Island Bourbon County Stout!

I wish the one on Highway 99 would've done this, although I used to often go to Biggs Beer Wine & Tobacco for craft beer when I used to live in Hazel Dell, to support the little guy. Plus, the owner- an Andy Richter lookalike who also has the same exact voice- is a riot!

Just got back from Indiana, and picked up a little haul. If any of you guys are interested in a bottle trade, or even just doing a bottle share one of these days, let me know. Also, if any of you guys/gals are on Instagram, Take a look at my gallery to see if there are bottles I might have you might want to try - CaylorSwift on IG.

Anyone looking for Velvet Merkin in the 164th area, BevMo has 2 bottles left after my purchase today. Also, a little birdie told me the new Stones will be on the shelf there on Monday or Tuesday, FYI. Just save me a southern charred of you're there before me.

I would totally be down for a Vancouver bottle share! I wonder how many would be interested? I've got a couple of coworkers that would probably be interested as well

I don't know if any of you guys and gals are huge fans of Stone, but as one myself I thought I would share the wealth and let you all know that the BevMo on 164th and Mill Plain has a very, very limited quantity of Southern Charred, Crime, and Punishment. I went in today and came out with a slight bruise on my debit card. 1 bottle limit of each per customer. SC was 17.99 and Crime/Punishment was 18.99 if I remember correctly.

Hint: It's not on the shelf. They just got it in today, so you need to find an associate and ask them to please find it in the back.
