Anyone ever tried making shakes with a Barrel Aged Stout? The thought just came to mind and wanted to try something new... Seems like a hot summer and wouldn't mind enjoying some BA Stouts floats or shakes. I have a few BCBS that I can spare. If this works out, I will make some for an upcoming family party.

Its pretty amazing, personal favorite is BCBS with Chocolate Therapy from Ben and Jerry's. I go light on the beer, maybe two ozs and the rest milk, sounds weird, tastes great!

Damn that sounds like a creeper... Someone will either get drunk and pass out or get stomach upsets from all that milk and ice cream. haha!

Never shakes, but floats many times. A good vanilla scoop into BCBS, Mexican Cake, Bomb!, etc... seems to happen at every bottle share with more than 1 big stout. No clue why

I wish our bottle shares would have those... Maybe our group needs to change it up a bit.

The recipe is easy, save the big beers for the end and make sure there's at least 22oz of 10%+ per person

I like to do chocolate ice cream in a chili stout (Luchador En Fuego is my personal favorite, for those who can get it). Like a glass of alcoholic mole sauce.
