i have the chance to pick up some of both but have heard that some have been infected? Is it worth the chance?
Coffee was fine in my experience (about 12 bottles that I drank), but Vanilla was about 50/50 infected for about 10 bottles..sad, because when vanilla was not infected, it was excellent, one of Prairies best IMHO.
I had better luck with the vanilla than @elbrooksie (just 1 out of about 8 and it was only showing initial signs), but you might also be looking at newer batches. I thought Prairie put out a new batch of coffee, but I'm not sure about vanilla. If they're shelf-aged from the previous release, I definitely wouldn't bother.
