ive bought a few but we're only getting the 25.4oz'rs in Miami. I might feel cheated with out that extra 3.4.

I've never seen a 22oz bottle of Zhukov, so if it exists it must be super rare and worth a lot like that Billy Ripken error card from 1989.

I'm sure any 22 oz bottle of Zhukov is probably labeled fuck face on the bottom too.

It is. I wrote it there. Just like Cal wrote it on Billy's knob. I mean, his bat.

Ahhh. the fuck face Ripken card. Still have mine in a little plastic case. I think it was in the last pack I opened in the extremely overpriced box of Fleer cards.

I just purchased some Jai Alai at TW in Fort Lauderdale. Has anyone seen beers with no date stamped on the bottom of the can? I looked through the whole stash and none had dates. I am not worried about freshness, just curious.

Last week I checked out the beer section at a Publix. They had three 9/10s and one 9/4. I passed on them because I still had some 9/11 at home. I went by again to see what they had and get some. This time they had three 9/11 and still one 9/4. Looks like people, myself included) are cherry picking. In a Publix, no less!
Yes I brought home some 9/11.

I love Jai Alai. Luckily I'm in SWFLA and I can get whatever CCB offers without too much trouble...

Yikes! I was at the Whole Foods in Ft. Lauderdale (Fed. Hwy.) and they had eight cases +. Some were in the cooler, but 7½ stacked up on the floor in front! Stamped 9/30/ 13. A bit past the date for some, but good enough for me!

I saw some at Publix, this morning, and noticed three different dates. Of course I Cheery Pick also.

I should also say that I'm not as worried about age (within reason) if I'm grabbing a sixer that I expect to be consumed that day. If I expect to drink a couple and leave the rest in the fridge for a couple weeks I would prefer something a little fresher. Fresh shipments of Jai Alai are so common at just about any store around here that I don't worry much about leaving the fresh sixer for someone else. I wish more people in this area would drink Florida Cracker and Maduro so older cans wouldn't sit on the shelves for so long.

I've been getting the 09/20 batch in Pensacola lately. Not super duper fresh, but I'll take it any day. Still bomb diggity... Got some Dry Hopped on the High Seas w/ a 10/02 canned date on it recently. I think I enjoy the 09/20 Jai Alai better than the 10/02 DHOTHS though, wasn't really impressed at all with it...

EDIT: Dont get me wrong, the Dry Hopped on the High Seas was good, but I think it had more potential.

I had a sixer of 10/8 High Seas. I thought it was really good and pretty much a second to Jai Alai as favorite IPA. Once I had one I couldn't stop drinking more. I wouldn't think but maybe a little difference in them? From same batch though, right? Maybe just personal differences. Very good IPA. Might try it on tap later.
