Various Disconnects

I am hoping that these issues are just part of the work being done to try and reintegrate the two sites, but recently these two things have been bothersome so I thought I'd ask about it:

• The homepage lost the front-and-center link to the community site. I know you can get there by clicking on "My Profile" or on the "Community - Forums" link on the left side. However, not only are these both more work to click on a mobile device, they also are opening the community page separately which again, is bothersome on any device, but especially so on a mobile/phone.
• The events page allows you to sort by state, but once you click to switch months it makes you resort by state again. I'm 99% positive this wasn't always the case, because I remember doing a single sort and then being able to run through many months to see upcoming local events.

Neither is a big deal, but I was just wondering if these are intended changes or something that will be changed back later on.
