Going to Vegas next week...I'm looking for two things. Where can I go on the strip that has cheap tables $3/$5 and you can get Sierra Nevada or other crafts for free during play AND any spots a cab ride away that I can check out to find great craft beers. I will be staying at the Flamingo...I'm from Ohio and looking for great craft beer finds I can't get here, Oregon, Cali ect.... Feel free to BM me or post. Thanks for any locals willing to help.
You can take the Double Duece bus downtown and hit 777 at Mainstreet Station casino; their brews are pretty tasty. While downtown, you can hit the satellite bar of Chicago Brewing at Four Queens. Cab rides to the main location of Chicago Brewing, Tenaya Creek, and Big Dog Drafthouse can be a bit expensive (trust me, the Mrs and I did that twice!)
The cheap bastards at 4 Queens won't give you any of the good beer for free while you're playing, I remember it being all macros and definitely not any of Chicago's beers. They make really good stuff though and are worth checking out anyways.
Yup; you have to purchase a brew at Chicago and take it on the floor. I don't know if 777 will serve you anything on the floor for free, either, but you can take it on the floor.
Right up the street (cheap cab ride) at Flamingo/Decatur is Money Plays. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/23151 Old school dive bar with a decent, but not crazy craft selection. Decent bottles too. As far as $5 tables go on the strip that also serve what you are looking for will be hard pressed to find that.

Khourys isnt too far away from the south point. But its wine night tonight there... but there is always a few people down there having a beer.
Walking distance? Ill find it lol. Looked at the bars in the hotel all I saw was macros. Id rather drink the dogfish head in my room and watch tv lol.
My car is on a trailer but I'm about to take off lol. I just want a quiet place to have a beer and this hotel is not happeing. This place sucks and I don't want to waste my one night in Vegas lol.
Yea I can tell man lol. They don't even have HBO. Looks like I'm probably gonna sit in the hotel room, drink my own beer and watch CNN. Man Vegas is awesome lol.
