Ok I know there was a thread on this not too long ago but I don't know how to search on the app and am too lazy to figure it out. I'll be on vegas for Super Bowl and was wondering what are the good bottle shops for picking up some beer. I'm staying off strip but have a vehicle and can access anywhere. Looking for the local skinny. Plz message me if you don't want to broadcast your spot. Thanks!
Bring your own. There are no bottleshops worth noting if your coming from Cali. Ill be there with a cooler of Alpine IPAs and Bruery sours myself.
Your in California? Driving to LV? Take a cooler. Fill it with good ole west coast IPA's or whatever you prefer. Don't forget to throw in ice to keep it cold. Drink it in Vegas. Enjoy.
I was always wondering why there is no really high end beer bar in Vegas. Not sure if that would be even possible and/or profitable, but that's the only place I see an expensive bar just for craft beer with some crazy selection. But anyway, That's what I do Feels great to walk on the strip with a bottle of Huna in hand
Aces and Ales is stellar. Sometimes they have things we can't get in Cali. Also if you go to the strip, there are many casinos that have uber cheap beer that is decent or very good (The Orleans had some of the solid standards from Tenaya Creek, Ballast Point, and Coronado when I was there in December), and that same beer is free if you can fake it like you are gambling at the bar (just put in a dollar and pretend to play. The bartenders aren't cops about that). This is not a way to get top shelf or rare beer, but it is a way to get great beer for very cheap or nearly free.
Not much you can get in vegas that you can't get out here. Whole Foods in Town Square is decent. And White Cross Liquor by stratosphere. Joseph James Citra Rye Pale Ale is pretty good. I've heard great things about Khourys and like someone mentioned aces and ales always has a good tap list.
Awesome guys! Thanks for the heads up. Staying at the Orleans so it's good to hear they have some decent beers available. I'll definitely be bringing some of my own. Cheers! PS. Knew you'd be good for a sarcastic comment frogout! Glad you enjoyed my humor
I mean no offense, but if your driving out from Cali you would probably pass by 5-6 bottleshops as good or better than anything in Vegas. I guess I am assuming he is driving and not flying though.
I was just busting balls. I Totally understand what you are saying. It's basically the same reason I don't ship extras to people in cali.
The Public House in the Venetian had a nice taplist when I was last there, but no bottles to go. My searching for bottle shops didn't turn up much outside of the Whole Foods off the strip.
