Going out to Vegas next week. Any good spots for craft beer on the strip I should check out? I always look in Vegas but haven't had much luck. So I thought I would post here

Well the best craft beers are definitely going to be off the strip, though I'll list the names of a few places (use google for addresses) in order of increasing distance from the strip that you'll have to travel.

On the strip, you've got Sin City Brewing in a few locations. Their beers are nothing amazing, but they're better than the macrobrews that are served in most other places on the strip.

    Near the strip, you have:
Yard House (Tons of taps- 100 or so?- but most of them are fairly standard offerings with only a handful of truly great beers)
    Banger Brewing
Hop Nuts Brewing (just opened last week)
777 Brewing Co. (Nothing to write home about, but pretty decent)
Atomic Liquors (Bar with solid selection)

    Around town you have:
    Chicago Brewing Co.
Aces and Ales (Bar with great selection)
    Big Dog Brewing Co.
    CraftHaus Brewing
    Bad Beat Brewing
    Tenaya Creek Brewing

I suppose you also have the honorable mentions of:
    Gordon Biersch
    BJ's

If you're only going to be on The Strip, check out:
    Yard House
    Public House at The Venetian
    The Pub at Monte Carlo

If you're hunting for that one, they have it in their main gift store - toward the middle of the casino, in the back. It's behind the coffee shop/bakery. It's decent and probably worth the trek just because it's in bottles and you can grab some to take home.
