First time living in Colorado. I'm out in Fort Collins current;y and was wondering if stores like Craft Beer Cellar, Wilbur's, etc. will get Merkin/ Does the state even receive their Proprietor's Reserve beers? thank you.
You'll see them here and there.. Got sticky monkey at liquor max on 34 in Loveland a couple months ago... Have definitely seen the others around. Supermarket liquor in Fort Collins if you're in the area.
They all come here; some hang around for a few weeks, others disappear in a day or two. When F-W first showed up, Parabola was on the shelf for 3-4 months. I drank 10 of those fuckers that summer.
I have been able to get all the 2015 Proprietor's Reserve beers so far at various places. Parabola was probably the 'toughest' find, but Abacus, Stickee Monkee and Helldorado were pretty attainable at all the usual suspects. I think Velvet Merkin isn't as high profile of a release as some of the ones I just mentioned, so you should be able to find it.
I believe Mr. Bs is having an FW reserve release event next week during GABF where all will be available. Don't know limits but worth checking out if you are ISO.
I'm seeing Merkin around Denver again. Applejack has some, along with Anniversary... at least they did at 9AM this morning. Argonaut had Merkin on Tuesday.
