Vendome Beverly Hills Officially Re-Opening

    It's been awhile, but the wait's over! Per their Facebook page this evening:

    "So finally after 7 months of battling with the city. We can finally open our doors tomorrow. But we will still be under construction. But the store will be open for your convenience. Our Grand Opening will be scheduled later. Thank you everyone for your patients with us. Long Live Vendome!"

    finally. It's located just two blocks away from my gf's. Was wondering when they'll finally open them doors up and make my drinking habit easier.

    I'm just curious how seriously "under construction" they'll be tomorrow and for the next few weeks (at least) -- will it be worth walking into a fairly dusty spot? Might wait to head over until the official grand opening, whenever that ends up being.

    Just got back from there. It's a nice spot! Smaller but cleaner (although it's dusty as hell right now with construction still going on). The coolers aren't completely filled yet and the beers on the shelf are dusty but there are still a few gems to be found. I grabbed a few sours while I was there (saw but did not purchase the last bottle of WootStout in case anyone is still looking for it). No deli or humidor yet. Definitely going back once it's all up and running 100%. Cheers!

    Never knew this place was so close ... I work right next to the Vendome in Placentia, but live right next to this one. 5 minutes away. Need to check this place out.

    Same here, but I just went there again last week after they'd restocked on IPAs and it was all cleaned up. Damn, damn, damn!

    They did have some solid bottles on the shelf when I went in. Some H24 Barrel Roll series bottles. Nothing blew me away, but hopefully they'll get the permitting issues tackles. Decent little location - especially since it's walking distance from the gf's pad.

    DAMN YOU BEVERLY HILLS DAMN YOU TO HELL! BH is a terrible city and I hate them. I feel bad for the employees, moving .5 miles away has turned into almost 8 months of unemployment.
