A buddy just told me about going down to sign up for the PRE-SALE of Bristol's Venetucci Pumpkin Ale yesterday (Monday). The pre-sale started at 12 p.m., 4 bottle limit. People started lining up around 9 a.m. with lawnchairs. The line wrapped around the building, twice, by 12 p.m. They sold out around 3. He later went down to Coaltrain Wine and overheard that there was a sign up sheet for one bottle when it gets released. Already over 175 people on the waiting list. I guess Bristol makes no profit on this beer since all the pumpkins are donated from the Venetucci Farm. All profits go back to the farm. Good job Bristol!

Just thought I'd share the lastest beer news down in Colorado Springs. Article and video below.

The Venetucci Pumpkin Patch is a Colo. Spgs. staple man. I grew up down there and remember going there to pick out my pumpkin every Halloween. They let you feed the crappy ones to the hogs they had on the farm. I'm glad to hear Bristol is kicking all the profits back to the farm, I had heard they were going to quit donating their pumpkins about ten years ago, glad it didn't happen.

This is by far, hands down, the best pumpkin beer I have ever had. They do a great job on this one!

Didn't realize about this beer, anyway to get it at this point or is it all trading? If all trading...would like to trade for one...

Call Veterans down in the Springs and put your name on the list. If not, I will trade you my bottle since I have had my share. Should be getting the bottles at the end of the month.

This is one where I'd actually encourage the brewery to bump the price up a bit ($6 a bomber IIRC), especially with it all going back to the farm.
