Was up at HF this weekend and picked up a couple of Vera Mae. I've had it before, so was going to drink one and trade the other. I'm pretty active on BA, but not so much on the trading side of things (only done a couple). Couldn't see anyone ask this specific question about Vera Mae before, and looking at FT/ISO where Vera Mae is involved, due to it usually being part of a combo etc (plus it being hard to judge from those threads anyway), couldn't really gauge what a reasonable ask would be. Anyway - looking for a BA stout that doesn't get east coast distro. Is BT or Choc Rain a fair ask? Of course there would be a $4$ element to make up on my end, but otherwise is that fair on both parties? If not, any other BA stout suggestions that would be a fair trade (I've had BASS, so that one isn't really on the cards)? Not looking to win or lose. Just to draw and try something I haven't had before.
Vera Mae is one of Sean's more limited farmhouse brews, 750ml, $15/bottle, limit 2pp (per day). It lasted just under 2 Hill Farmstead weeks (Weds-Sat). I believe it sold out on the 2nd Saturday it was on the shelves.
FWIW, I sent my extra Vera Mae to my Spring House trustee/friend, along with a Florence, for an Odell Friek & a Jackie O's BA Black Maple. we're both ecstatic
