So my last IPA was a great beer, however it seems I over-carbed the bottles a touch, and when the beer is poured it presents a massive rocky head that just reeks of hops. Once the head calms down it seems the aroma gets wiped away with the carbonation. So, anyone else run in to carbonation scrubbing away hop flavors and aromas? Or am I just cursed...?

It seems to take the hop flavors away.

The only time I've had that happen in an IPA (aroma, but little flavor), was when I used gelatin for fining...but then I keg...so carbonation is always spot on (given time).
