Veritas 16 Release Details

Hmmm...seen a couple pictures already this morning of ppl with DDG bottles as they picked up their veritas. Never saw Lost Abbey post that they would have some for onsite consumption, but that is pretty cool.

 

Just back from first session, had ten bottles of DDG for onsite. Split one, damn amazing. Word was ten per session....

 

Someone broke the toilet and they had to shut dowj the tasting room until 1.

Planning to arrive early tomorrow hopefully able to get some DDG.

 

Just $54 a bottle for DDG. A pittance.

 

Yea, we got there at 12, and they shut it down until 1. Was anle to snag a DDG for our group to share. The taster of v16, meh. Wasnt crazy about it. But i never have been crazy for veritas tasters.

 

I had to wait too, but it was smooth sailing after getting in. Sucks someone forgot to take their diarrhea pills, but v16 was well worth the wait.

 

I thought the lactobacillus was a bit heavy in the taster. Interested to see how the bottles are reviewed..

 

There were no longer any DDG available at 12?

 

That Veritas 016 was strong with the oak. That's a good thing.

I was flying solo at Lost Abbey this morning and folks were damn generous with their DDG. So at one point, there I was, a big fat taster of 016, a teku with a nice sized pour of DDG and a glass of Cuvee deTommee. And it was only 8:15 a.m.

Great way to start the day.

 

I missed you there bud, and I missed DDG

 

It is really good out of the bottle...like really good.

 

Should have bought a 2nd bottle of DDG when I had the chance! Cuvée was tasty.

 

No DDG this morning ;(

 

V16 was tasting pretty great
Was told V17 is underway and should be set before March :]

 

Did they mention what it'd be?
