This thread gives me a sinnerboner.

I should have paid better attention at some point, all the info went one ear and out the other.

Weren't you in attendance at the DC Veritas Tasting? A bottle of Sinner's would be a like a Bud Light to you, no?

Yes. Which is why I should have paid closer attention. Too busy drinking.

It's just about the one year anniversary of that too. Ahh, my peak as a beer geek.

I will take a Veritas 009! I think I am one of 5 people in the world who actually thoroughly enjoyed that beer.

Nevermind, I'm looking at my notes from a Veritas tasting at O'Brien's in 2009 and it was said that the difference between Sangre and 006 was precisely the addition of Cab Franc Angel's Share in the 006, though I don't doubt there's more to it than that. Sangre (base) has a bunch of stuff in it including but not limited to raspberries, sour orange (sour blonde with a couple hundred pounds of mandarin oranges), cuvee, sour cherries, something*, and something*. There's a lot of contradiction surrounding Veritas, but I have that note on Cab Franc Angel's Share being blended into 006 in several places from several occasions surrounding the release of 006, now that I look. I remember Sangre was served flat in a punch bowl at Stone Anniversary, not unlike Sangria. That was tasty on that 110 degree day.

Edit: I just double-checked. The 005 from Tomme has a Black 005 on the Cork and a Black 005 on the back label. The Veritas 007 I have only has it on the cork, and no back label.
