Appreciate the patience everyone, we're still working on event logistics. The truck has left VT and we will be doing the takeover the night of or the next night after the dropoff in PDX. The actual tap list for the night will be divulged a few days prior to the event. Because of the timing (or lack of time, as it were), we won't be doing a limited pre-sale of entrance tickets, but most likely a first-come type event with a fee/tokens/tickets, whatever, with very little lead time (so be on your toes!). That structure is still being worked out, but will post as soon as available.

Just got to put it out there that the H&V crew did a terrific job with the VIP early entry. Very well organized, pleasant atmosphere and company, generous pours... all in all really well done. All the beers were damn tasty, with Edward and Chewbocka stealing the show for me. Thanks for putting together an awesome event!

I was in town for one night from Seattle, with the kids for spring break. At 9:15 on Tuesday I snuck away, and couldn't believe that Edward was still available. Walked in, got a seat at the bar, and enjoyed a few beers. Well done, H+V, thanks for making my night!

Yeah I was a little bit underwhelmed by what those hoarders in VT chose to send us. However, hard to complain about sampling some VT brews here in Portland in a low key atmosphere. Consistently underwhelmed by Edward but I think that's just me so, whatever. Good to see the coast to coast connection.

BTW, I would have gladly paid 6.50 or 7.00 for a pint of some of the Bobcat or Zero Gravity stuff. I know everything was small pours to spread it around, but with a dead house on day #1 would have been nice to be able to order the next size up. Just some feedback for next time.

Sizes went up to normal on Thursday after the event was over, so that Bobcat Kolsch and the Zero Grav Chewbocka and Gruit are now 20oz pints, if you still have a hankering. There was never the bumrush on the door there could have been with some of the HF/Lawson's Barrel/Wild/IIPA stuff, but we did have a pretty steady Tues/Weds, considering also the definite PDX hangover from the preceding 7 days of fun in the sun/easter/spring break. All in all, I couldn't complain too much, there was pretty good diversity even in the lager segment of the list. A small amount of the last keg of Edward is still available, for anyone who missed it. Thanks to everyone who sampled some of the VT love! Next up: New York

Guess I'm not the only one that was disappointed with what was offered. Gotta say Edward is WAY overrated, and the rest of the selection was mediocre at best. I expect to be wowed by a tap take over, especially when it's beers that aren't distributed in the Portland area, and this did not. At least give me something so I circle the date on the calendar and makes me say, "I must be there."

Isn't it great living in Portland?
