100 bbls per month in CT compared to Lawson's 7 bbl system in Warren.

See the Alchemist pop-up thread. Questions about that event answered there by others who've attended previous events.

Worst case scenario is you get there at start time or even shortly thereafter and you're outta there in 90 minutes, tops. Very well run.

Just got back from the Stowe area.

Stopped at Winooski Bev at 12:30 on Tuesday and was told no Heady til 6pm. Didn't want to wait around for it but was able to grab some other good beers.

In Stowe on Thursday and Friday I was able to find Heady 4 packs at both the liquor store across from Piecasso and the Wine and Cheese place next to Piecasso. Limit 1 4 pack per person so bring a friend if possible. I hit the liquor store around 4pm on Thursday and the Wine and Cheese around 11:30am on Friday.

edit: We were also able to drink heady at almost every place we ate in Stowe throughout the week including The Whip, Piecasso, Harrison's. If you want to stop in for a drink while you search these places should all have it. Price seemed a consistent $7/can.

How quickly do they usually sell out? I don't think I'll be able to get there until early in the day on Friday.

If the last 3 canning runs are any indication you should be fine.

I'll be trying to get to Winooski Bevvie on the 16th coming up (Thursday) but I won't make it there until the 6PM release. Is there any chance they will sell cases if I'm the first few people on line. If they do, then I'll probably try getting on line at like 5ish.

Any must-eat places? Going to Stowe next week for Vaca. We went last year too so I know quite a few places, but the area is so packed with quality restaurants that I only had Piecasso out of the 3 you listed.

Harrison's is a place I'd consider must eat. Dinner only, reservations needed due to limited hours and how small it is. You can make reservations on their website.

I thought The Whip was really good as well especially if you are looking to get a burger/mussels, and soup and bread, etc. They have a great lineup of draught beer and a few in bottle/can including Heady. They also have 4-5 wine taps which my GF enjoyed. Ron the bartender was very cool and was quick with the service.

If you drive about 20 minutes Waterbury is a great place to eat. Hen of the Wood, Prohibition Pig.

Edit for beer: Also saw Double Dose at the Stowe Wine and Cheese place and Winooski. Wine and Cheese had a 1 pack per person limit. Didn't see any in Winooski. Cracked one open last night - really enjoyable beer.

Both the hotel and the deli at Trapp Family Lodge have great continental food and traditional German beers. Crop has a tasty menu & house beers too.

As a point of reference: I flew in a couple of Thursday's ago at 12 and had my bag and rental car by 12:10. BTV is the best. Then I had lunch with the fam and afterwards hit Fiddlehead for Mastermind (around 2:30). No line and tons left. (Sidenote: Completely agree with @bahnfire on this brew. If I lived in the area and they canned regularly, it'd be my go to). From there headed towards HF and made it by 4:30 after a quick stop in Waterbury. No line and basically all the growler pours you want....So your Thursday plan is easily doable.
