hey BA - what's the magic # for "how do I get heady/Lawsons/HF" posts before we just get a forum specifically for Vermont? Is it 1,000,000? It's probably a million right since I assume we're around 900k right now in this New England forum?
If topic density were to determine the regional forum designations, this would probably become the NEBCo-Tree House-Trillium/State of Vermont forum.
There is no magic number. Magic isn't real. Neither is the brother's live for segregating the forum further.
I do not get why people care about all the Vt threads. I guess some people need something to complain about or maybe it is too hard to just ignore the threads...
Was just thinking the last month how enjoyable the NE forum has been lately - being able to read about neighboring states breweries instead of redundant threads on my home state's incessant Big Three. Learned a lot of interesting new stuff going on beyond our borders worth checking out.
I'm assuming you meant the threads were incessant? Also, humble brag times a billion. We get it, you don't love hoppy beers, but you can get them whenever you want.
Would you be utterly mystified if I told you I'm really interested in beers from MA? I enjoy traveling to discover new places as much as you may enjoy coming to VT. I'm expressing pleasure that I can read about some breweries beyond our borders for a change. Being a homer 24/7 gets old. And absolutely no humble brag intended!
There are plenty of great VT beers that don't scream hops... like Everett, numerous HF saisons, the malty beers from Queen City... and Alchemist beers like Petit Mutant, Luscious and old brewpub recipes that will hopefully be coming soon, like Wild Child (please!), Farmers Daughter, Uncle Daddy, et al.
