I know this is getting played out. The Vermont trip postings. But here goes; I'm going to Vermont on Friday, April 18th. I believe the Hunger Mountain Coop in Montpelier has Heady cases on Friday, Then I'm going to head up to Hill Farmstead, should get there between 1:00 and 2:00. Then head south to Waterbury for a late lunch/dinner at Prohibition Pig. Then on Saturday, April 19th attend the Lawson's 6th Anniversary in Waitsfield. Any other breweries in the area that are worth while? and any other suggestions to get the most of the trip? I'm making a 6 hour ride so I want to make the most it. Thanks.
Rock Art and Lost Nation are both in Morrisville. Lost Nation is the more impressive of the two, but it's worth stopping at both.
If your coming into the valley (for Lawson's) be sure and hit the Mad Taco, they have great selection of Lawson's on tap and other local brews (farmstead and lost nation). Oh and amazing food! You can also find cases of heady at the village grocery, gas station in town. Warren store sells Lawson's but goes quick. Agree with the above too, lost nation is a great place to stop at, my fav is the Gose. Enjoy VT.
Do you know if the village grocery gets Heady on Fridays? If not do you think they'll have cases anyway? thanks
Yeah!, from Waterbury, skip over to Trapp Family Lodge and have a Dunkel. Fantastic view from the Lodge. Get a growler to go.
I hope nothings getting played out. We are lucky to have these places and opportunities. I am doing a trip like this in mid May and will be asking for advice.

We are planning on camping near Waterbury. Picking up a couple of cases of HT on Monday, eating at the Prohibition Pig and Blackback, heading up to Hill Farmstead on Wednesday and see what happens all around.

All of Warren/Waitsfield gets their deliveries on Tuesday. You would be better off hitting Hunger Mountain if you are looking for a case purchase.
