If I was to plan a trip for 3-4 days where should I stay to maximize my bang for the buck and where must I visit? Thanks for any help.

There are several threads you can get all of this information from in this forum. Look down a few lines or pages.

Depends on what you are looking for, how much you want to spend and who you are going with.

Waterbury or Stowe area is nice. It puts you pretty close to all of the best spots. Breweries to hit, obviously Hill, Lost Nation, and, Fiddlehead. Waterbury has some of the best beer bars, like Pro Pig. The Beer Cellar in Waterbury is great as well. Check Alchemist site for Heady drops in Stowe and Waterbury. You will be surprised some of the places that stock great beer, gas stations, general stores, etc. Just ask around. There are too many places to mention. Have fun!

P.S. Worthy Kitchen and Worthy Burger are amazing places for food and local beer!

Whichever of the breweries you do make it to, ask about the vermont brewery challenge passport. It's free and a fun way to keep track of your visits.
