I'm heading up to Vermont on Friday and am trying to come up with a plan to hit the right spots at the right time. It looks like Heady will be out since the places that do cases are Thursday releases and the only Friday releases are in the Stowe area. I couldn't make it there until 2ish and they should be sold out. Would like to develop a plan to get Lawsons, HF, HT (if possible), SOS, Tribute, Fiddlehead release, and anything else I shouldn't miss. Any advice would be appreciated....
Definitely Hill Farmstead Friday if you like Maple Syrup. They are releasing their new bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. It will be packed though because of the festival. If you are going to HF, I would go to Parker Pie too for some great pizza and if you get lucky, they usually have loons for sale for onsite consumption and to take home. Enjoy your weekend!
i second parker pie. went for my first time a few weeks ago. pizza was delicious, and double citra on tap (when i was there last) can't be beat
What festival? Also, don't get too excited for Cantillon, I was there early Jluy and they didn't have any. Was also told by staff they wouldn't get any until September. Ymmv, though. You can get Lawson's at Winooski Bev on Fridays at about 1030. Tribute is all over the place.
Was at Foley Brothers this past saturday and they were playing up a release this coming weekend for a new IIPA and some barrel-aged version of their maple brown i believe...Fiddlehead Mastermind release on Saturday as well. edit: whoops, mastermind release is Aug 8th
Any idea as to what times Heady is delivered around the Waterbury area on Wednesday? How about Warren Store on Tuesdays? Is this a constant time or totally random?
