You may get lucky at Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier. Sometimes they sell out right away, but every so often you'll see a bottle or two left on Monday/Tuesday. Worst case, they should have some stuff you can't get in NC, although it may not be from Lawson's or Alchemist.

I thought Hunger Mountain in Mont had 4pack limits, I am remembering that when I was there in August.

Right now they have a limit of 2 on both Heady Topper 4 packs and Lawson's Bottles. It still sells out fairly quickly. Slower than when there were no limits though.

Today would have been a good Saturday to go as they didn't run out until 3:20, according to their FB page.

Quite a steep grade entering the best western in waterbury must be pretty hazardous in icy or snow conditions. Don't get too tanked up if your on foot you might not make the hill. (start working out).

There could not be a better example of why Beerfly is a limited resource and it is a good idea to ask on a forum about an upcoming trip.

This is true. However, if you really hit all 3 bars here (4 if you count Cork), you hopefully won't remember the walk home :grinning:

I really have concerns climbing that hill in an ice or snow event.

It was a hell of a climb in july. In the car no less.

You'd be surprised how clean they keep that hill, especially the bottom. Mostly out of concern for out-of-state visitors at the hotel with marginal/no snow tires. VTrans can't afford an accident at that busy intersection with skiers headed to & from Stowe and locals to the supermarket all day long. Although VTrans has backed off on their previous "bare roads policy" they do pay particular attention to known trouble spots where winter tourists tend to be.

    Hey all,

Just wondering if there is a limit on cases of Heady Topper at the cannery? Hope this is the right thread?

Sometimes there are, but usually there are not. If there is a limit it will be 2 cases per person. I've only seen limits on the weekends, but not every weekend. I think it just depends on how much is available and projected traffic through the area.

Definitely get your fill of Lawson's at the Waterbury bars. I got a Maple Nipple at Blackback Pub on Friday night (unfortunately my wife kicked the keg) and it was so much better than the bottles I had last weekend. Texture was so much creamier. Also had a Hopzilla at the Reservoir that night and it was in the running for the best DIPA I've had. I've had it in the bottle many times and didn't enjoy it nearly as much. It really hit me that I should be drinking my Lawsons on tap as much as possible.
