Vero Beach for Memorial Day Weekend

    Which places are worth checking out in Vero Beach - both bottle shops as well as bars/pubs/restaurants? Are any of them child friendly as I will be traveling with my family?

    Also, anything (beers/breweries) I should really be on the lookout for?

    Have checked out the other threads and it seems like Mermaid is the best recommendation in Vero from what I can gather...

    Yes, The Kilted Mermaid is great for adults. Hurricaine Wings is good for the family. Bruggers is also but the taplist is hit or miss. ABC Miracle Mile is the best for bottles. Rick @ABCbeerRick will hook you up. Just a short drive to Ft. Pierce for Sailfish Brewing. Good stuff going on there and every Wednesday night is a bottle share. Hit me up with your dates and I'll buy you a beer.

    I'm assuming that you can find the standard CCB beers around. Do Funky Buddha beers make it that far?

    All of the standard CCB. Sometimes a few others hit distribution. We have a few Funky Buddha on tap around town like Hop Gun. They only do bottle releases at the brewery.

    Since I was just grabbing beers when my daughter was napping for the most part, the times were really unpredictable but I appreciate the offer (when traveling she gets really off schedule). I did check out Brewgrrs, ABC Miracle Mile, Hurricanes, and Sailfish Brewing so thanks for the recommendations.
