I'll down for a few days up and down A1A in that area. I see Orchid Island right on Ocean Dr which I am sure I'll be at. Untappd has them average ratings.
In-land a bit is Walking Tree and American Icon. Worth going to? Any others in that area? I didn't see a thread for either of these. Thanks!

Definitely hit Walking Tree! I have only had a few of their beers, but really tasty. There is a somewhat recent thread that talks about traveling to Miami that others have chimed in on regarding options of breweries to visit, i recommend looking it up.

Thanks but traveling that far not an option, unfortunately. I saw there is also Sailfish Brewing in Fort Pierce. I'll check that out as well.
Tap room for Walking Tree looks pretty nice. I've heard some of those warehouse style breweries don't have AC and get super hot, not sure about WT. Thanks again

My brother lives in Vero Beach and frequents Walking Tree and American Icon, and has been to Sailfish a bunch. He also really likes The VIne and Barley for a beer bar. I've never been to any of these personally, so not sure how helpful this reply is, ha - but I'd say you're on the right path!

Been to American Icon, good food and beer in a cool historic building. It's in Vero Beach's old municipal diesel power plant and still houses one of the generators there.

didn't make it to Walking Tree but had some of their beers. American Icon was a great stop. Beer was pretty good, but the atmosphere and food was great. They were out of the Double Hazy which I really wanted to try, Freedom Torch and the Blonde were probably my favorites which was surprising (not usually my style).

Orchid Island overall I thought had better beer. Monster Hole was the best beer I had on the trip (had Noble Brewing, Sailfish, Walking Tree, Cigar City, and others). But I like those citrus dry hopped hazy IPAs which is what OIB had more of.

    Thanks for the input everyone.
