Now that 12.12.12 is long gone, is anyone still cellaring old Vertical Epic's? I still have several years/bottles in my cooler but really have no plans (or interest) to open them.

There are a few shops in the area that have 11.11.11 and 12.12.12 on the shelves.

I had a great time at Stone for the 12.12.12 festival but that seems like a distant memory.

After 09.09.09 I didn't really care for any of them, I have one of those still though

I loved 09/09/09. I don't know what it tastes like now, but if it's anything like it used to be, I would want some.

I purchased 2 sets 03-12 and after I opened and tasted the first set I decided to go ahead and open the second set because alot of the older beers were really fading...didnt see the purpose of continuing to age them..I am going to grab a few of the 12.12.12 to put away in the cellar..

I have from 06 on, but I really have no desire to try and get any of the older bottles.

I went to a local bar that had 03-12 available as a "sampler set." This was a few months ago; I can say that I was completely unimpressed with all of them.

I have an 09 and an 11. They will probably be drunken this summer, time to clear the cellar of some of the stuff that shouldn't age too long. I picked them up when I was a mere 21 thinking oh Ill get all of them eventually. I have no desire now, the idea of trading away good beer for a 11 year old wheat beer is just not my thing. I don't really have any desire to try these but I'm certainly going to drink them rather than pour them.

I had an 07.07.07 last month: it was mediocre at best.

12.12.12 was actually reshipped to a few retail stores in NJ recently (within the last week) I thought it was mislabeled Enjoy By, but alas, its 12.12.12.

Heres some motivation, the longer you wait, the worse its getting. If you have any intention of drinking it, you should open it now.

I hated 12, but 11 with a year of age on it tasted great, surprisingly. Never tried anything before that.

anyone opened up an '08 recently? Found one on a La Mesa shelf the other day and wondering whether to drink it ASAP or take my time. Regardless, I'll drink it sometime during the year.

09 is still really damn good, but 10 is done for IMO. 11 not really great either. 12 could go a few years easy, we still have a case of it on shelf, as do many other stores. I noticed in the bottle the 12 was way more of a clove bomb than on tap, which is cool but I'd love to see it settle down some.

We have 03-12 and are opening them Memorial Day weekend. It will be interesting to try them. We were hoping to do it sooner but that's the first time a bunch of us can get together. Too bad finding an 02 is not an option though
