Vertical on expedition.

    What's the oldest you have ever tried? Wondering when to start a vertical.

    Start it now and get cases every year. Expedition is one of my favorite beers it will never be bad for years to come. I have trouble keeping any past 3 years it's so dam good.

    I have about half a case of 2010 still, only getting better.

    I've only had it up to 3 years old I think. I actually did a vertical tasting (same temp., same glass type, newest to oldest) and while they were all very good, I think I actually prefer Expedition fresh by a good bit. Just something about that beer right out of the gate, easily one of the best straight up Imperial Stouts you can possibly get.
    Everyone's taste is different though and that beer is easy enough to stock up on....so get at it!

    I started last year - put two 6ers away the last 2 years & always check places to see if their bottles are older than a year to speed up my vertical. Don't think I'm touching any for at least a couple more years - it's easier to do that when they're under a couple more cases in a chest freezer :stuck_out_tongue:
