Hi, recently I acquired some old gueuze and fruit lambic that was standing upright for decades (80's-90's). I want to stroe it in my cellar and am wondering if it's useful storing horizontally. I presume not, as the old dry cork will affect the beer. Not sure though...

If it was standing upright that whole time definitely continue storing that way. the cork will have dried out and may not keep the beer in the bottle if it is turned on its side

Also please elaborate on what you obtained
