Howdy, I have been collecting verticals for a little while now (Huna, DL, Darkness, BT, Chocolate Rain) and while originally i was planning on drinking them I am now wondering if anyone has any thoughts of the value of trying to trade a vertical like those. Would it be reasonable to offer up a vertical or two to try and land a BA Darklord? (Most are from 2009 or 2010) Thanks for any input in advance.
Don't see why not, give it a shot. Especially if you have 09-14 BT.. wasn't 09 BT very highly sought after even recently? From what I've noticed though, verticals aren't getting as much "value" lately. It may very well be that people are more interested in ticking off rarer, limited one-off releases, e.g. the new girl on the block that are sours/saisons, as opposed to drinking multiple years of a bigger pedigree'd stout that's been around for a long time e.g. DL, Abyss, Darkness etc.
