Victory Harvest was a great beer. Definitely should not have discontinued it. Also loved Yakima. I’ve really backed off Victory lately, other than the Classic 15 pack.

Wow, that may be pretty good. The Monkey series has been hit or miss with me and enjoy Sour and Tart, hate Twisted...

Chiming with agreement on (1) Merry Monkey looks very interesting and (2) the reminiscing/missing of Moonglow.

Well, I haven't seen anybody comment on two new lagers on draft at Victory. One is called Diamant, which is new experimental hybrid noble hop and was used by Ron Barchet to brew a new Braumister Pils. He also brewed a lovely pale looking bock. It's a tasty, but sneaky brew at 7.5% abv. I believe both are available at all Victory brewpubs.

Believe me @rotsaruch I bet a lot of us wish we were closer to the brew pubs but sadly we’re not. I was even checking the tap list the other day and saw these ones you mentioned. Get some of these into distro, please

I really do feel fortunate living in relative close proximity to all PA brewpubs and so happy that Ron is back actively brewing again. The Diamant pils has a very earthy, spicy, kinda skunky hop flavor with a dry crisp finish; truly refreshing. Hope u have an opportunity to try it.

It looks like they have several other interesting brews on tap at Parkesburg. Any idea if the crowler machine is working? Stopped by in late August for some Braumeister Pils and the thing was broken. (And yes, I'll contact them.)

Also glad to see an English IPA listed.

I live close by but after the whole covid thing and before that they chose to limit wing Wednesday to 4pm+ I stopped checking the tap list. Also not having Uncle Teddy's on the last few times I was there was a major buzz kill.

I guess if I get bored I'll clean some growlers sounds like good beer.

Found a 6-pack and had to try one. It's quite good. Definitely a Golden Monkey with spices added; those spices don't overwhelm the base flavor. I generally don't care for the usual spiced holiday ales, but this one's a keeper. I'll save the others for December and will likely have a few on Christmas Eve.

I've been trying to cut back on beer, but between this and the holiday stout we brewed today December is going to be rough. Or awesome.

Ha ha right there with you. I have cut way back and do feel a lot better because of it so going to stay the course and beers like this will need to be once in a while treats.

I enjoyed a crowler of Diamant last week. Liked it even more than the reformulated Prima.

I've never messed around with cellaring beer, but I'm thinking of setting 1 of these aside until next year, or longer.

Don't know how these Victory guys do it, but the Merry Monkey is my new go to beer. Im lucky to live close to Victory headquarters so i am drinking the Merry Monkey draught.

Been on a Sly Fox draught kick until Merry. Hesitant to drink a high alcohol content (10%), but this Merry beer doesn't have alc taste and cinnamon is smooth addition.

I had two of these Merry Monkeys and it got creative juices flowing. Pulled out Korg and railed on it. New Spire was hooked ip but couldn't get it to record.

Morale of story, its a great tasting beer that will get you going for sure. Just don't expect to learn anything new.

The Hop Wallop periodic returns have been a really wonderful welcome on my store shelves. Hope they keep doing this drop each year. Would be awesome if they expanded this to Yakima and a few others from the past.
