Dark, roasted barley. Rich, deep caramel. Decadent, fruit-tinged chocolate. We’ve unlocked the mysteries and nuances of malts to deliver these luxurious and provocative flavors in this complex and satisfying porter. Hitting shelves near you (and throughout our distribution footprint) soon!

I'll be in the area this weekend and was debating on whether or not I'll have time to get to the brewery, but if there's a chance this is on tap, I'll have to make time!

I assume by the ABV on this one, that the base beer is probably Baltic Thunder.

That one's still sitting on the shelf around here, I want to try it but haven't been able to pull the trigger at $15. Hopefully this one is cheaper, it looks great.

I found Deep Cocoa at $10 a bottle. Also I have to say Earth and Flame is worth the $15.

Had this Friday at the brewery, and it was delicious. Definitely would have it again.

Hate the fact that it's not sold in 4 or 6 packs though.

Agreed! Had it on tap and it was great! Can't bring myself to buy the bomber because I know I won't finish it before it starts to fade.

Is that a 750? Which still has all the problems of a bomber. Price and more high ABV beer than I want at a sitting.

Yes, Victory's 750 ml bottles are corked and caged. Their 22 oz bottles are capped.

But maybe not down here in MD or NoVA yet, perhaps. I'll keep my eyes open for it. Thanks for letting me know that its out in Philly area stores, at least!

    Cheers!

Why is it in a 750 instead of a bomber? I've never thought of porter as a style you'd need to cork and cage.

I just had this from the bottle last night. I did not love it, but I thought it was a solid chocolate porter. However, I do not see myself reaching for another bottle of it. On the other hand, I thought Earth & Flame was really good. That was a nice new surprise from Victory in the barrel-aged space.
