A fresh six pack of Sucks is a better bargain, maybe not any better a beer.

I like fresh sucks a little better than DW too, and yes it's an even better bargain. However, I haven't seen a six of sucks (fresh or otherwise) in months. That's where the love for DW comes in. I've been able to get some every time I've looked for a while now.

I can understand that. I originally had thought you started drinking and drain poured it because it wasnt fresh enough for you. I do understand cracking a night cap beer and not enjoying it so you don't finish it

To the best of my knowledge and I very easily could be wrong, but the only sucks that is available year round is 32oz, not 6pks but again I could easily be mistaken. Man I could go for a quart of sucks right now

yup. I enjoyed it even more than Dirtwolf, which is solid in its own right, but Hop Ranch is one of the best IPAs I've ever had -- and I've had a lot. I wish Hop Ranch was year-round as well.

Hop Ranch is coming back, right? does anyone know when? considering how fantastic it tasted even after a few months of age, I plan on buying a case or two.

I was thinking about this beer today and realized that I need to pick up more. It satisfies every time! I can't wait until Hop Ranch comes back.

DirtWolf is a good DIPA that's balanced and year round. Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Chinook? Thank you sir may I have another! It's stone fruity and resinous, just how I like my DIPAs! Plus it's light years ahead of Hop Wallop.

More West Coasters who haven't figured out where the "Top 250" link is on BA. Pretty sure the top beer is still brewed in Vermont. But I'm sure it just can't compare with the West Coast, either. (Nor can Double Sunshine, Gandhi Bot, Triple Sunshine, Dinner, Double Citra, Abner, etc. et al; obviously, these East Coast DIPAs just can't hack it!).

Look, I don't think DirtWolf is God's gift to beer drinkers, but your West Coast elitist attitude is as obnoxious as it is tired. People could say the same about Alpine and Kern: "Good DIPAs, but they're not Hill Farmstead!" They wouldn't be any more correct or incorrect as you - or any more useful.

Good beer is good beer, wherever it is brewed.

It's becoming one of my favorite beers, a delicious beer that stands up with with the heavyweights almost neck for neck

East Coaster here....It is a terrific DIPA. Not unlike you left coasters raving about your stuff.

No one else does. Damn, some of you left coasters think your shit don't stink. Torpedo's not in the same league as DW, btw.

But, just so you don't cry yourself to sleep tonight, Alpine brews some ok stuff.

Agreed. Hop Ranch to me crushes Dirt Wolf. The double dry hopped Dirt Wolf was pretty good though...
