    Harvest Pils or Harvest Ale?

    If you are talking about the Pils, which I am very excited for, it went on tap at the brewpub mid-October last year, so I'd guess any day now.l

    Harvest Ale, sorry. Harvest pils sounds good too though.

    It's the better of the two :slight_smile: The Harvest Ale was also at the brewpub during mid-October last year too.

    This year's Victory Harvest Ale will be quite different from the previous years. Victory trucked in different hops from Yakima Valley (Washington) for this year's version.

    Malt: Pilsner, Vienna, Crystal

    Hops: Fresh (wet) Mosaic and Citra whole flower hops

    ABV: 5.8%

    Flavor
    Big juicy flavors of apricot and tropical fruit merge with aromas of citrus and grapefruit, immersing your senses in fresh hops. Sweet notes of malt provide balance and a pleasant bitterness lingers.

    I was at the brewery yesterday and our rep was nice enough to grab a few bottles DIRECTLY OFF THE BOTTLING LINE. opened them and poured samples. The beer is awesome. The best word i could use to describe it was "juicy". The smell made my mouth water, it was very good.

    Victory is killin it.

    Do not miss out on the Fresh Hop Session IPA if you head out there it is just as good as the harvest ale but draft only.:stuck_out_tongue:

    Picked up a sixtel on Saturday of the Harvest Ale. Insane is right.

    Damn. I was at Vecenie's on Wednesday and they didn't have it yet, or they had it but it wasn't displayed on the shelf and I didn't think to ask about it. Definitely would have picked some up. Hopefully it doesn't doesn't disappear too quickly.
