I agree 100%. I was at the brewpub Friday evening and I had both; they were both very, very good!!

Giant Eagle Shadyside. I had 2 last night. It's fantastic. It reminds me a lot of Head Hunter. I am heading back later to get 2 more 4pks. I am going to drink the shit out of this while I can.

Huge display in WF Chelsea in NYC. 4-pack is $9.99. Can't wait to try this.

This stuff is fantastic. Only wish it came in 6 instead of 4-packs, think I'll have to go back to the well for another 4 very soon.

3/10/15 "enjoy by" date on mine. Given that their regular hoppy offerings appear to be dated to enjoy by 5 months after bottling, are we assuming it's the same for this one? So...2 wks old at this point? Sure does taste like it..

Correct. When I bought my first 4pk last week, there was a rep at the store. He told me they were bottled 7 days prior. "They can't be any fresher at this point" was his words to me.

I picked some up at Latimer Deli around 15th and Spruce this past Tuesday or Wednesday. They had about three or four 4-packs at the time, can't speak for now but might be worth looking into. Also, Victory's beer finder on their website actually seems to be pretty accurate whenever I've used it.

I picked up a 4-pack for $9.99 at Beverage Plus in Floral Park on my way to Flushing the other day. I thought it was good, but not great, especially since I got a 4-pack of Founders Harvest for $10.99 at the same store and Founders Harvest is one of my favorites and totally blows this beer out of the water. I just thought, while it was definitely noted by the brewery and advertised, that it tasted too much like tea and grass. I love beers where the hops impart a grassy flavor but this was overwhelming and really didn't feel like a true harvest ale. I expected more from Victory, but for the price it really wasn't a bad pick up. I would still rate it around 85 if I still rated beers. It's not like I'm not going to drink the remaining beers or anything, I just expected more. Worth the try, but I don't think you should get your hopes up.

How does this compare to Founders Harvest Ale?

Just drank a Harvest and now drinking the Victory. So far the Harvest seems milder, hoppier and very drinkable.

The Victory has a more danker, bit more malty taste. Both are excellent.
