I'm going to Victory in Downingtown tomorrow night and looking to try some new beers? How is their sampler? Any beers I should try that I can only get there?
Sampler is decent (good size and pick your own). Victory does a pretty decent job brewing to style. Based on the current tap list (http://www.victorybeer.com/brewpubs/downingtown/) I'd recommend trying the Braumeister Pils (Tettnanger Hallertau).
The Uncle Teddy's Bitter on cask, if you're into that style. Only available at the brewpub (as far as I know).
Just to comment on your last part, Uncle Teddy's Bitter on cask is not brewpub only. That actually gets pretty widely distributed throughout their network.
based on the tap list posted above, I'd try the round robin lager. it seems that it is a special limited release. so this might be your only chance to have one (or more).
Good call, I didn't even realize that Hop Wallop lived on after being replaced by DirtWolf in the bottled lineup.
It's back for a limited time. I'm curious if it taste the same same as I remember. Going to try and swing by this weekend for one
St. Boisterous was on draft when I was there about a month ago, I had forgotten how much I enjoyed that beer. Cool to hear Hop Wallop is back and I may have to swing in to give it a go, I miss that beer!
Thanks for the posts. I decided to try their sampler. I went with the Moving parts #5, Moonglow, saison du buff, cherry gose, and Teddy's bitter. All delicious beers. The food was awesome too.
