At $28, looks like I'm only going to be buying a 4-pack to split with a friend. That's very expensive. I am of course going into this saying "it can't be worth that," but I love being surprised. If you have low expectations you can't be let down, right?

Bought a 4pk for $24.99 a few days ago. Great beer. Might be a bit too "hot" for some folks though. Might mellow with age I suppose.

I thought the barrel was well-integrated again this year. Seemed much less hot to me in terms of alcohol than many other BBA offerings.

The coffee, on the other hand, I found almost excessively bitter. That was definitely not the case last time I tried this. Since I'm drinking it fresher this year, it may be that it mellows into a sweet spot to my taste in a month or two.

Honestly, my first thought was that it tastes like fresh SMS, but not as good. Anyone else notice more coffee this batch?

I saw $33.99 in Albany and had to pass. Hopefully its cheaper in Massachusetts.

Interesting that at $18 original bottle people are passing at $25-30 a four pack. I passed at $27 but also passed the original release. I would rather find some SMS or Willet. Guess that's what most are thinking.

I also feel Victory is over charging for a lot of the new beers post selling. That's just my thought but at many $12-16 packs of just ok beer I am everyday loving Victory less. Still love Prima, Vital and Hop Devil and a few others but only at case price, I see these at $10-12 six packs and just walk away.

    Enjoy

I am a fan of this beer but poor timing when it came out same day as lagunitas willet. $29.99 a 4 of this vs 11.99 a 6 of lagunitas directly next to it was no brainer

I bought it at $18 for the 750ml last year and will pass on at $25/ 4 pack and above this year. But I'd also pass on buying a 750ml again. The beer just isn't very great and not worth revisiting at its cost.

I thought the prior vintages were disappointing, especially for the price, but I really liked this year's version. I still only bought one bottle this year and am fine with that. Glad I tried it, but this pricing is stupid on Victory's part.

I feel that since the sell out the Pricing at Victory is silly. Pretty much feels like it's all about every last cent. I get it, they need to make $ but why should there new beers be in the $12-15 range for a local six pack of Meh tasting beer.

I stick with the few core I like and that's it. This was my favorite brewery. I had a keg of hop devil at my wedding just a few month after victory opened.

    Enjoy

Still waiting on this in MI. Had a '16 last week and it was incredible. The heat had died down, the coffee was still noticable, and it was intensely chocolate-y. Glad I've got another one... You know, for a snowy day, like today.
