Does anybody know if Victory plans to put out Moonglow in a six pack in August (or anytime this year)? It's probably my favorite U.S. made weizenbock. I know it was draft only last year due to their expansion issues.

Same question regarding Victory Old Horizontal, but I guess I'm getting ahead of myself on that one.

They skipped NYC last year along with the Saints and Weiss.

As a devoted fan, I'm getting annoyed

Agreed. These beers should be part of the general rotation by now. Last year it was just limited to the 5 counties surrounding Philadelphia- and didn't even make it up to Lehigh (where I could've got some ). I could understand it then, but now, not so much...

If not this year, I would hope for next year. New production brewery should be just about ready to roll.

I could have sworn I just saw some cases of it this past weekend.

In the slim chance that you'd be interested - The Owl Farm in Brooklyn has St. Victorious on tap at the moment.

I was finding six packs and cases of Moonglow in the Philly suburbs last October, so they definitely bottled/distributed it. Hope the same is true this year - great beer.

They did a limited batch and distributed to a handful of counties. Moonglow is an old favorite of mine. I was surprised that I had not seen it last year but I was able to drink one after a hockey game because a teammate brought some to the locker room. Epic fail if it and Old Ho are not back.

We shouldn't have too much longer to wait for return and/or wider distribution. Last I took the time to check the new production brewery is about set to strart up.

I appreciate your optimism, but I believe that official production at the Parkesburg brewery is probably not until 10/1/13. It's likely that limited amounts of draft only of Moonglow brewed in Downingtown will be available this year at the brewpub and at other local/regional beer bars since the existing bottling line is now being disassembled and being moved to Parkesburg.

On a positive note, Victory will be expanding their availability of draft only and other seasonal beers in 22-oz "bomber" bottles. It is likely that Mad King Weiss and the Ranch series of DIPAs will be in 22-oz bottles as well as Old Hoe.

BTW from my experience Victory are pretty quick to reply to questions via Facebook and email.

Perhaps it will not be all too long before yours truly and the legendary BA rotsaruch will be able to sit down over a few pints once again.

Look forward to your visit old friend and enjoying some pints together. It's been too long since we shared a few!

Here's a Victory event that may coincide with your return:

Old Ho coming back is OK. Bombers is questionable at best./

New Ranch will be the best Ipa brewed in PA.. Cold hard Facts.
