If we could swap out the Whirlwind for the Kolsch, I'd be thrilled.

As someone who isn't a fan of the banana flavors in most wheat beers, it always pains me to see otherwise excellent variety cases where I don't want that 4th beer.

You reminded me that I haven't had Helios in a while. I should get some the next time I see it.

Has anyone from Victory mentioned when the variety packs will start shipping? There was no time frame given in the press release.

Whirlwind is a Belgian Wit, so there are no banana flavors in this beer. Just a light citrus and spice.

I've yet to have a wit that doesn't have some trace of banana.

Interesting. I've yet to try one that had any banana flavor.

I can get on board with this. Also, a dry-hopped pils...I just went from six to midnight. :grinning:

I'd like to try the Victory Kolsch on tap at some point @JackHorzempa, and I'd definitely pick up bottles of it if I saw it. Victory has crushed a lot of German styles that I've tried, I'm guessing they crushed their Kolsch too.

“ …I'd definitely pick up bottles of it if I saw it” Does that mean you would like to join the “Let’s bottle Victory Kolsch” committee?

Hey Jim (@Starkbier), it looks like we up to four members and it has only been 2 days. Woo-Hoo!

    Cheers!

@JackHorzempa How do I sign up for the Let's Bottle Victory Kolsch Committee? Is there a petition or something? Consider this emoticon :grinning: my e-signature.

Jack, as Ive probably mentioned before, of course we bottle the Koelsch - nice 2 Litre swing tops - they are even counter pressure filled for you! Me, I drink it in 20 and 58L cans. :-)

    Jim,

I personally have little excuse for not getting growlers of Kolsch. The best excuse I have is that I am too lazy to drive to the brewpub in Downingtown. Although, to my partial credit I have a homebrewed Kolsch right now lagering in my lager chamber (and that homebrewed Kolsch will be bottled).

Now that I am in the process of forming a posse, I have to think about my associates. For folks like @TongoRad, @GreesyFizeek, @fritts211, and others, obtaining growlers is not much of an option.

The “Let’s bottle Victory Kolsch” movement is vibrant and growing day by day.

You Victory folks might just resign yourselves to the fact that we will not be going away and just provide us with bottled Victory Kolsch.

    Resistance is futile!

    Cheers!

    Jack
