What's up with the price? I loved that beer, and buying a six pack of it cost somewhere between 10 and 15 bucks. Yesterday, I rejoiced while at Joe Canals when I spotted it on the shelf. I heard it was returning in bomber form, and yes, there it was! But, hold on, $14.50 for a 22oz bomber? Has anyone else seen these out? If so, did your store have it priced that high? Victory normally has reasonably low prices. Why do you think it's so pricey?

Sounds like they may have just used the 6pk pricing they had in their system already rather than seeing up a new SKU.

That's what I was expecting. I would pay that easily.

Are you sure it wasn't the Oak Horizontal? Just grabbed a bottle of that for around $17...

No, it was the new Old Horizontal in bomber format.

Sounds like they used the old sku as 6 packs with the new case price (probably between $55-$60 for 12 bombers wholesale)

4 6 packs at that price would be about a $18 6 pack.

Wow, that is really high then...hopefully just a pricing mistake.

Wegman's in Warrington, PA had Oaked Horizontal awhile back for $15, so $14.50 in NJ for Old Horizontal is bullshit. Neither are worth $15, but that's just my opinion.

I scored a 2012 Schlafly Oak Aged Barleywine today at the Wegman's in Cherry Hill and that brew trounces either offering from Victory imo.

There were 2 bottles in the "Last Chance" rack, I only bought one.
So it might be there tomorrow if you were really motivated.

It's at one of my local stores. Just haven't bought it. Thanks for the heads up though.

Oaked Horizontal was about 14dollars at victory earlier this year.

Cool, I was impressed enough by a 2011 I scored while in DC with my wife to grab it as soon as I saw it today.
