The last two 12 packs of Prima Pils I have purchased this summer (July and August) have been real gussers. They are inside the best buy date by more then a month. I first thought that by me slightly squeezein the can to insert into a cozzie may have caused this, but it happens opening the can with or without the cozzie. Has anybody else had this problem? I purchase my beer from a large beer distributor in the Pittsburgh market. I have never had this experience before with any other beer purchased there.

It has been a long time since I have purchased Prima Pils. It seems like you experienced a production issue. I would encourage you to contact the brewery to let them know about this issue (e.g., provide batch information).

Beyond the overcarbonation aspect, does the beer taste OK?

    Cheers!

Yes the beer tastes fine. The overflow is annoying but doesn't diminish my love of Prima. I just have plenty of paper towels under the can to sop it up. Haha. I intend to fire off an email to Victory to advise them of the situation. Thanks Jack

That's their new low calorie version:

SAME GREAT TASTE - 12.5% FEWER CALORIES*

*Unless you wring out the paper towels and add those 1½ ounces back into your glass.

Yea, for sure! I could also put the paper towels in my mouth and suck on them like the God awful stuff dentist's put in your mouth. Haha
